PWCC Special Interest Groups
Share |

One of the things that sets PWCC apart from other networking associations is that we are made up of a diverse membership of professional women from a wide variety of industries. Because of this, some of our members have organized smaller Special Interest Groups (“SIGs”) around a particular profession or business interest to take a deeper dive into common issues they may face. The PWCC Board of Directors encourages any idea for a SIG, so if you’re interested in organizing one yourself for PWCC Members, please contact the Board President to present your idea.  Here are the SIGs that are currently operating today.

Lawyers’ Special Interest Group

The PWCC Lawyers' Group meets once per month for an informal lunch and conversation about how to work better, market better, practice better, and network better. The Lawyers' Group meetings are open to all PWCC members who are lawyers looking to network with other lawyers who share their interests and who want to increase the value they receive from their general membership. The lunches are bring your own. Please contact Barb Yong for more information.

Financial Advisors Special Interest Group

The PWCC Financial Advisors Special Interest Group meets once per month to discuss various issues relating to financial planning, marketing, networking, etc.  The Financial Advisors Group meetings are open to all PWCC members who are in the financial planning industry, who want to network with other financial planners to share their interests and experiences, and want to increase the value they receive from their general membership.  Please contact Shannon Hahn for more information.

Young Professionals Group

The Young Professionals' Special Interest Group meets 2-3 times per quarter to explore career and personal facets most relevant to early-to-mid level professionals in their 20s and 30s. The YP Group is open to all members looking to network with others experiencing similar points in their careers, share resources and introductions, and increase the value they receive from general membership. Please contact Kelly McGonagil or Kimberly Wasney for more information."
