Lakeview late night hot spot Big G’s Pizza has teamed with Chicago’s newest craft brewery, Begyle Brewing Company, for an evening of pizza and beer tasting for the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago! The tasting will take place on Thursday, March 6, at Big G’s Pizza located at 3716 N Clark St and is open to all, members, non-members and guests.

The pizzeria and brewery will feature five pairings sure to entice the senses and satisfy the stomach:

1)    Begyle’s Crash Landing, a hoppy wheat beer that boasts a smooth and creamy flavor, will be teamed with Big G’s Nacho Man, a pizza combining flank tip steak, pico de gallo, and tortilla chips, topped sour cream and salsa verde.

2)    Begyle’s Euchred, a Midwest IPA comprised of stone fruits, will be paired with Big G’s signature item, the mac n’ cheese pizza.

3)    For the Guinness lovers out there, Begyle’s Neighborly Stout, a double dry stout with a hint of dark chocolate, is sure to please. This will be complemented by Big G’s most popular meat option, The Savage. Chunks of barbecue chicken accompany bacon and Wisconsin cheddar that is topped off with a thick and creamy house made ranch dressing.

4)    Begyle’s Flannel Pajamas, an oatmeal stout lighter in body than traditional stouts, features roasted notes of chocolate coffee. This sessional beverage will be accompanied by a Big G’s original, the Jack Daniels pulled pork pizza. Thick clusters of tender pulled pork, marinated in Jack Daniels barbecue sauce, topped with crispy fried onion rings and a handful of Wisconsin cheddar make this slice one of the restaurant’s most requested options.

5)    Begyle Blonde Ale, a classic golden ale, will serve as a natural complement to The Venus, a marinara based pizza with sautéed spinach, chopped tomatoes, and feta cheese. This pairing is an ideal fit for those seeking a lighter option!

This event fee is a mere $20 per person. Please pre-register at pwcc.org just as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing everyone March 6 for this unique night of fun, networking, food, and drinks!
