In September, PWCC welcomes Lt. Col. (ret) Jennifer Pritzker for our season kick-off VIRTUAL event.

With many of us stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, and others of us struggling to stay on top of our work and business during a period of profound economic and social disruption, now is a good time to seek models of resilience and success during tough times.

Join us to discuss lessons from military life with one of Chicago’s leading experts on business and military history.

Upon her 2001 retirement from the United States Army, Lieutenant Colonel Jennifer Pritzker was promoted to the rank of honorary Colonel in the Illinois National Guard. A businesswoman, investor, developer, philanthropist, and a veteran with a love of history, she founded the Pritzker Military Museum & Library in 2003 to promote and preserve the stories of the Citizen Solider.

Additionally, she founded TAWANI Enterprises in 1997 as a private wealth management group specializing in the development, investment, management, and preservation of real estate properties in the Chicagoland area.

She currently serves on the boards of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association, Squadron Holdings LLC, and the Leadership Council for the Program in Human Sexuality Medical School of the University of Minnesota.

Pritzker is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. in History, as well as the U.S. Army’s Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Chemical Officer Advanced Course, the Quartermaster Officer Advanced Course, and Command and General Staff College. She received an Honorary Doctorate of Military Science from Norwich University in 2007. Pritzker lives in Chicago and has three children, a daughter Tal Hava Pritzker, sons Andrew and William, and three grandchildren. The name TAWANI was created using an anagram combining the letters from her children’s first names.

Don’t miss this conversation with a fascinating leader.
